Job summary

Mercy Hospital St. Louis is seeking a Respiratory Care professional to provide direct patient care across respiratory therapies according to physician orders. You will consult with physicians on therapy effectiveness and serve as an advanced resource for the care team.

The role requires graduation from a CoArc approved Respiratory Care program, current RCP license, and NBRC RRT credential. ACLS is preferred; PALS may be needed in ER.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a CoArc approved Respiratory Care program.
• Current Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license as per state requirements.
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential per NBRC; PALS may be required in ER.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct patient care across respiratory therapies per physician orders.
• Consults with physicians on the effectiveness of therapy.
• Serves as an advanced resource for physicians and nursing staff.
