Job summary

ARMStaffing is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for night shifts in York, PA. This 13-week contract features a 3x12-hour schedule and a focus on safe patient care, supervision of LPNs/CNAs, and adherence to the nursing care plan.

The role requires BLS and ACLS before the first shift and a minimum of two years of bedside experience. Onsite position with benefits and support from ARMStaffing.

Qualifications

• BLS and ACLS certifications required before first shift.
• Minimum of two years bedside clinical experience.
• Experience supervising LPNs/CNAs preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform nursing assessments within 8 hours of admission.
• Identify teaching needs related to diagnosis.
• Provide direct patient care and participate in rehab programs.
• Initiate discharge planning and patient education from day of admission.
• Communicate changes in patient status to all care providers.
• Provide training and supervision to ancillary nursing personnel.
• Ensure personal and environmental safety per hospital policies.
• Engage in team-building and maintain a positive work environment.
• Accept charge responsibilities as oriented.
• Pursue ongoing professional development.
