Job summary

Mercy Springfield is seeking a full-time RN for the Marian Center in Missouri. The role utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care, coordinating with a collaborative team to ensure high-quality, compassionate services across shifts, with a focus on patient rights and privacy.

The position supports Nurse Residency and requires a state-approved nursing degree, active RN license (or compact), and an American Heart Association Healthcare Provider card or equivalent within probation.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a state approved School of Nursing.
• Maintain current RN license in hiring state or compact licensure.
• Current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider card or complete a course within probation period.
• Other certifications as required by role.
• Nurse Residency Available: Mercy Springfield offers a year-long Nurse Residency Program tailored to the specialty area in which each nurse is hired.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care.
• Maintains professional accountability for provision of patient care for the assigned patients.
• Evaluates the overall effectiveness of care provided by other direct care givers.
• Coordinates the patient care in conjunction with other departments.
• Maintains patient rights and confidentiality of patient information.
