Job summary

Virtua Health in New Jersey is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse (RN) for night shift at Lourdes Health System location. The RN will assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care, ensuring safe, evidence-based patient care and appropriate delegation.

Required: Associate’s degree; NJ RN license; 0-1 years experience, 2-4 preferred. Hourly rate $43.73–$60.75. Benefits include medical/dental/vision, 403(b), PTO, tuition assistance, and EAP. On-site position with flexible scheduling.

Qualifications

• 0-1 years’ experience required, 2-4 preferred.
• Associate’s degree required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• NJ RN License is required.

Responsibilities

• Performs an assessment of the patient, leading to development, implementation and evaluation of a plan of care.
• Administers, monitors and documents therapeutic interventions and regimes.
• Participates in clinical decision-making.
• Educates patient and family/responsible party regarding disease process, individual care needs, wellness, safety issues, etc.
• Delegates and monitors care rendered by other members of nursing department and healthcare team.
• Participates in orientation, education and development of healthcare team.
• Identifies and participates in the performance improvement activities.
• Maintains professional and departmental level competencies.
