Responsibilities include assessing patients on admission and each shift, administering medications, and educating patients and families. A minimum Associate Degree and BCLS within 30 days are required; RN designation preferred with at least 1 year of acute care

Qualifications

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient condition during admission and each shift; promptly report changes.
• Administer prescribed medications and document care.
• Provide responsive, compassionate care and educate patients and families about conditions and treatments.
• Translate medical terminology to ensure patient understanding.
