Job summary

ScionHealth in Greensboro, NC is recruiting a Registered Nurse to provide direct and indirect patient care using the nursing process. You will collaborate with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans.

The role requires an active RN license, BLS, and 6 months of medical/surgical experience. You will document care and participate in discharge planning to ensure smooth transitions.

Qualifications

• Postsecondary certificate, diploma, or nursing program graduation (Required).
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred.
• Active RN licensure in state of practice; BLS required; ACLS preferred.
• Six months of Medical/Surgical nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides planning and delivery of direct and indirect patient care using the nursing process.
• Develops nursing care plans with patient, family and interdisciplinary staff.
• Communicates changes in patient condition to physicians and team.
• Documents admissions, care plans, and assessments in the medical record.
• Administers medications using the five rights of medication administration.
• Assists with discharge planning and patient education.
