Job summary

Centurion Health is seeking a Full-Time Registered Nurse (RN) Infirmary at the Eastern Correctional Institution in Westover, MD. The RN will provide holistic nursing care to incarcerated patients under the direction of the DON or Nursing Supervisor and work with a multidisciplinary team to assess and respond to complex needs.

Requires MD RN license, CPR/BLS certification, an Associate's Degree, and ability to obtain security clearance; night shift available with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Must hold valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Maryland.
• Must show/obtain current Purified Protein Derivative (PPD) documentation for tuberculosis screening.
• Must be appropriately and actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)/ BLS.
• Prior nursing experience not required.
• Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Provide holistic nursing care to incarcerated patients under the direction of the DON and/or Nursing Supervisor, and collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to identify, assess, and respond to a wide range of physical, psychological, and social needs.
