Job summary

Methodist Richardson Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide high‑level nursing care across patient populations. You will perform assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation using the nursing process, while supporting the hospital's mission and strategic goals.

The role includes a 12X3 night shift with rotating days in a 36-hour work week. Applicants must graduate from an accredited nursing program, hold a Texas nursing license (or eligibility) and have a current BLS

Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
Current Basic Life Support Certification.
Current license to practice nursing in Texas or eligibility.
Six months RN experience.

Responsibilities

Adheres to hospital standards and promotes a cooperative work environment through communication and teamwork.
Manages nursing components of patient/family education using the nursing process.
Communicates with the team, patients, and families and confirms understanding of information.
Maintains a safe and therapeutic environment for patients, staff, and facility.
Ensures complete, accurate, and timely written patient information.
Administers medications and IVs safely and timely to support patient care.
Shows initiative for performance, professional growth and development.
Applies the nursing process to ensure quality patient care throughout care episodes.
Performs other duties as assigned.
