Job summary

Huntsville Memorial Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide professional nursing care under the supervision of the Charge Nurse. You will assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care, advocating for patients and maintaining high standards of safety and quality.

Responsibilities include medication administration, care coordination with the multidisciplinary team, and ongoing patient and family education. A current RN license and BLS/ACLS within specified timelines are required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a school of professional nursing.
• Current RN licensure or eligibility in the United States.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 60 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to assess, plan, provide, document and evaluate care.
• Administers and reconciles medications.
• Adheres to infection prevention protocols and safety standards.
• Provides patient/family teaching and supports patient rights and privacy.
