Qualifications

• Required minimum nursing education: Associates/Bachelors/Masters in nursing (preferred).
• Current RN license in state of employment or compact license where applicable.
• Basic Life Support certification required at hire.

Responsibilities

• Monitors, assesses, plans, implements and evaluates patient care.
• Delivers care per the care plan and uses independent judgment appropriately.
• Collaborates with staff and communicates care plans and patient needs.
• Supports performance improvement initiatives and maintains professional competence.
• Mentors and precepts other nurses; upholds confidentiality, safety and professional standards.
• Complies with Wellstar Health System policies and code of conduct.
