Job summary

Novant Health's Progressive Care Unit (ICCU) in Kentucky is seeking a Registered Nurse for the PRN Nights shift. You will lead the healthcare team, partner with physicians and support staff, and deliver individualized plans of care that promote optimal health and comfort for patients and families.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing, current RN licensure, and at least one year of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• 4 Year / Bachelors Degree, preferred; graduate of an accredited school of nursing required.
• Current RN licensure in appropriate state, required.
• If your RN license has been inactive, retired or lapsed for five years or more, a refresher course is required prior to reactivating.
• One year relevant experience, preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the healthcare team and establish an authentic relationship with the patient and their support system.
• Collaborate with physicians and other team members to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate an individualized plan of care.
• Provide care in accordance with current policies and procedures using best scientific evidence and compassion.
