The RN will assess, plan, implement and evaluate care using the nursing process, document appropriately, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support patient discharge

Qualifications

• Has completed basic professional curricula of a nursing program and holds a diploma/degree.
• Valid RN license (Oklahoma or multi-state).
• 0–6 months related nursing experience.
• Knowledge of disease state management, clinical pathways, and bio-psychosocial model; strong communication; ability to organize and prioritize work; attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care.
• Documents steps of the nursing process and uses proper medical terminology.
• Collaborates with other disciplines to meet patient needs and discharge planning.
• Participates in unit PI and educational activities and completes variance reports.
