Job summary

Centurion Health is seeking a per diem Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team at Jefferson Correctional Institution in Monticello, Florida. The RN delivers holistic nursing care to incarcerated patients under the direction of the DON and Nursing Supervisor, coordinating with a multidisciplinary team.

Shift: Nights, 7 PM–7:30 AM; weekends as needed. Requires Florida RN license, ADN, CPR certification, and the ability to obtain security clearance (drug screen and background check).

Qualifications

• Florida Registered Nurse license is required.
• CPR certification required.
• ADN or equivalent nursing degree required.
• Ability to obtain security clearance (drug screen and criminal background check)

Responsibilities

• Provide holistic nursing care to incarcerated patients under DON supervision.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to assess and respond to patients' physical, psychological, and social needs.
• Maintain nursing standards of practice and patient safety in a correctional setting.
