Good Samaritan in Estherville, IA is seeking a Registered Nurse for full-time straight nights to deliver compassionate, nurse-led care in a not-for-profit setting.

The RN will assess, plan, implement and evaluate care for residents, collaborating with families and the care team to maintain high-quality health outcomes. A nursing degree and an active RN license are required, with leadership opportunities and a sign-on bonus.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program (CCNE, ACEN, NLN CNEA) preferred; Bachelor’s Degree in nursing preferred.
• Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where practice occurs; multistate licensure allowed in an NLC state.
• Obtains and maintains required department specific competencies and certifications.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized nursing care to residents using the nursing process and coordinate care with residents, families and inter-disciplinary colleagues.
• Serve as charge nurse when applicable and delegate tasks to licensed/unlicensed staff while ensuring safe, reliable patient care.
