Job summary

McLeod Health in Dillon, SC is seeking a Registered Nurse for full-time night shifts (7p-7a), 72 hours bi-weekly. You will assess patients, implement nursing interventions per care plans, and conduct hourly rounds while upholding service excellence.

NIHSS, ACLS, and PALS certifications are required within specified timeframes. Minimum education: accredited RN program graduate with SC or compact RN license; BLS mandatory for all nurses.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited registered nursing program.
• Must possess a valid South Carolina or compact (multi-state) RN license.
• BLS (Required for ALL nurses).
• ACLS and PALS required within 6 months of hire for Critical Care Services.
• NIHSS certification required within 6 months of hire and annually for Critical Care Services.

Responsibilities

• Assesses needs of patients as assigned based on data collected through history, observation, physical examination, and analysis of diagnostic data.
• Provides appropriate nursing interventions, consistent with the Plan of Care and standards of practice, incorporating the Physician’s prescribed medical plans of care.
• Using service excellence standards, conducts Hourly Rounds.
• Fosters an environment that demonstrates caring, compassion, and respect for all patients, families, and visitors.
