Job summary
VitalCore Health Strategies is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Kenosha County Detention Center in Kenosha, WI. The RN will deliver high-quality care within the scope of practice, supervise nursing personnel, and advocate for patient health in a correctional setting.
Requirements include graduation from an accredited School of Nursing, Wisconsin RN licensure, and active CPR certification. Night shifts are 3x12 hours, 6pm–6:30am, with a $2/hour night differential and a comprehensive benefits
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
- Active RN licensure in the state of employment (Wisconsin).
- Possesses an active CPR certification.
Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate reports and records.
- Administer medications and monitor for reactions.
- Record vital signs and patient information.
- Coordinate with healthcare team to assess and plan care.
- Supervise nursing staff as appropriate to scope of practice.
- Prepare patients for examinations or treatments.
- Educate patients and families on health topics.
