VitalCore Health Strategies is seeking a Registered Nurse at the Kenosha County Detention Center in Kenosha, Wisconsin. The RN delivers quality nursing care within legal scope, ensuring patient safety and acting as a patient advocate while guiding other nursing staff.

Requirements include graduation from an accredited nursing program, Wisconsin RN licensure, CPR certification, and ongoing clinical competencies. Night shifts include a $2/hour differential and a robust benefits package.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of employment.
• Active CPR certification.
• Knowledge of state laws and regulations governing practice.
• Completion of clinical competencies as assigned by role.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate, detailed reports and records.
• Administer medications to patients and monitor for reactions.
• Record patients’ medical information and vital signs.
• Monitor, record, and report symptoms or changes in patients’ condition.
• Coordinate with healthcare team to assess and plan care.
• Modify treatment plans as indicated by patient responses.
• Oversee nursing staff as assigned.
• Prepare patients for examinations or treatments.
• Educate patients and families on health topics.
