Qualifications

• Graduate from a school of nursing, BSN preferred.
• Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Ohio.
• Experience in acute hospital setting and ability to coordinate patient care.
• BLS Healthcare Provider certification required upon employment.
• ACLS required or willing to complete within first year.
• PALS required or willing to complete within first year.
• Strong communication, teamwork and patient care skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver patient care for an assigned group of patients using the nursing process.
• Perform CLIA-waived testing where applicable.
• Delegate and supervise licensed and unlicensed staff.
• Communicate with the care team and keep patients and families informed.
• Coordinate patient and family education.
• Assist in discharge planning and continuity of care processes.
• Ensure safe medication administration and adherence to procedures.
• Maintain accurate documentation and utilize hospital information systems.
