County of DuPage is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for a part-time night shift at the Kenneth Moy Care Center in Wheaton, IL. The role involves delivering professional nursing care under supervision, with responsibilities spanning care planning, medication administration, and supervising aides.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Nursing from an accredited college or university.
• Current Illinois RN license.
• Wound care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Respond to residents’ calls and render services.
• Plan and coordinate residents’ care plans.
• Prepare and apply dressings and administer medications as prescribed.
• Supervise Nurses’ Aides in routine nursing activities.
• Maintain accurate narcotics and drug inventory.
• Administer enemas, catheterizations, bladder irrigation and oxygen as needed.
• Contact families if residents have needs.
• Oversee documentation to comply with regulations and Joint Commission.
