Job summary

Rock Creek of Ottawa, operated under The Ensign Group, is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for a 6pm–6am shift on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. The role pays $35–$42 per hour and requires an active RN license.

New graduates are welcome to apply. This position involves monitoring patients, coordinating with physicians, administering medications, and maintaining charts to support high-quality care.

Qualifications

• RN license is required.
• Prior experience preferred but new grads are welcomed.

Responsibilities

• Monitor patient’s condition and assess needs to provide care and advice.
• Observe and interpret patient’s symptoms and communicate them to physicians.
• Collaborate with physicians and other nurses to devise individualized care plans for patients.
• Perform routine procedures (blood pressure measurements, administering injections etc.) and fill in patients’ charts.
• Adjust and administer patient’s medication and provide treatments according to physician’s orders.
