Job summary
Burrell Behavioral Health is seeking a Registered Nurse in Springfield, MO to provide comprehensive nursing services across residential facilities and outpatient clinics. You will assess health needs, administer medications, educate clients, and coordinate with a multidisciplinary team to support mental health and substance use recovery.
The role requires an active MO RN license, willingness to obtain additional licenses, BCLS certification, and ideally ACLS.
Qualifications
- Current Registered Nurse licensed in the state of practice.
- Willingness to become licensed in additional states and provide telehealth services.
- BCLS certification required; ACLS certification preferred for FQHC.
Responsibilities
- Perform appropriate nursing assessments and evaluate client health conditions.
- Complete initial medical histories and vital signs; coordinate action plans.
- Monitor health status and coordinate care with treatment teams.
- Administer and monitor medications according to standards; educate clients.
- Collaborate with physicians and advanced practice providers for client management.
- Oversee infection control and ensure client hygiene practices.
