Job summary

SBM Management Services, LP seeks a GMP Recycle Technician to support the recycle, reuse and reclamation program. You will collect, salvage, sort materials, inspect items, and maintain dock areas while assisting the shift lead and ensuring safety policies are followed.

Requires a high school diploma or GED with 1–2 years recycling experience; forklift and hazardous waste handling training may be needed. Teamwork and professional communication are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 1–2 years recycling experience in a company environment preferred.
• CPR/AED/First Aid certification a plus; forklift certification may be required.
• Hazardous Waste Handling Training per RCRA may be required; safety training certifications completed.

Responsibilities

• Comply with safety rules, policies, and procedures.
• Collect, salvage, and sort reusable or recycle materials or waste materials.
• Inspect and sort materials; maintain dock and collection areas.
• Work with multiple collection containers; support shift lead in completing punch-list items.
• Maintain logs and schedules; talk with lead, supervisor, co-workers, managers, and customers professionally.
