Job summary

SBM Goodyear, AZ is hiring a Recycle Technician to support the recycle, reuse, and reclamation program. You will collect, salvage, and sort materials, maintain logs, and work with multiple collection containers while following safety rules.

Responsibilities include inspecting materials, communicating professionally with team members, and assisting the shift lead with punch-list tasks. Requires a high school diploma or GED and 1–2 years recycling experience; CPR/First Aid certification a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; 1–2 years recycling experience preferred.
• Bilingual is a plus; strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to read and interpret instructions, manuals, and safety procedures.
• Must be able to lift up to 35 pounds and perform repetitive tasks.

Responsibilities

• Collect, salvage, and sort reusable or recycle materials or waste materials.
• Inspect and sort materials; maintain dock and collection areas.
• Maintain logs and schedules; follow safety rules and procedures.
• Talk with lead, supervisor, co-workers, managers, and customers in a professional manner.
• Work with multiple collection containers; support shift lead on punch-list items.
