Job summary

Floor & Decor is seeking a Receiving Associate to assist with warehouse operations, unloading, auditing, and staging products to recover store inventory. The role supports safe lifting practices and accurate receiving paperwork, with forklift-certified training emphasized.

Positions available include both full-time and part-time hours. Base pay starts at $15.00 per hour, with higher starting pay depending on experience and qualifications; conducive to a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of warehouse experience preferred.
• Forklift experience preferred.
• Effective communication skills (oral and written).
• Attentive to detail.
• Ability to work in different weather conditions.
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment and meet deadlines.
• Available to work extended hours, especially during peak seasons.

Responsibilities

• Act in a manner consistent with the company’s core values.
• Ensure products are staged for counting and inspection.
• Ensure all receiving paperwork is properly completed.
• Ensure products are stored properly to conserve space and comply with safety procedures.
• Oversee the rotation of inventories within the warehouse.
• Perform other related duties as directed by management.
• Demonstrate safe lifting practices and SOPs.
• Complete required department and equipment training (forklift certified).
