Job summary

Qualifications

• Education: None
• Experience: Counting skills required.
• Physical: Able to lift up to 50 pounds frequently.
• Work environment: Non-climate controlled warehouse setting.
• Availability: Overtime, weekends, holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Verifies purchase orders and Bills of Lading match items and paperwork.
• Counts products to ensure information accuracy.
• Constructs pallets per paperwork specifications.
• Sets up pallet dimensions and notifies Inventory Control of missing slots.
• Instructs lumper service on safe pallet building.
• Applies decals and secures pallet with shrink-wrap or tape.
• Processes paperwork and ensures it is signed and reconciled.
• Receives approval for changes by notifying Slot Clerk.
• Informs management of issues affecting timeliness.
• Completes daily PIT checklist and reports equipment defects.
• Operates PIT equipment safely.
• Follows safety procedures to maintain personal and coworker safety.
• Maintains organized work area in Receiving.
