Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC in Bastrop, Texas, is seeking a Receiving Inspector for the night shift on the Starlink program. You will review documentation, verify certifications, and complete receiving transactions to ensure conformance with design requirements.

You will communicate with internal customers and suppliers, use the MRP system to document issues, and drive nonconformance resolution while supporting Lean initiatives and ITAR compliance.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of receiving, precision, or metrological inspection experience.
• Familiar with AS9100 Quality Management System standard.
• Experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications (ASME Y14.5).

Responsibilities

• Perform documentation review and verification of certifications, specs, and conformance to requirements.
• Complete receiving transactions of incoming product per established procedures.
• Approve or reject items and documents based on inspection results.
• Communicate inspection discrepancies and packaging issues with internal customers and suppliers.
• Use electronic MRP to document issues and route parts to proper departments.
• Resolve nonconformance and support Lean manufacturing initiatives.
