Job summary

Hallcon Corporation is seeking an in-office dispatcher to coordinate the transportation of railroad personnel on nights (5:00 PM – 5:00 AM, Sun–Tue; alt Wed). You will ensure driver trips are covered promptly and coordinate with Field Management to resolve issues, while updating systems accurately.

The role requires attendance, strong typing/10-key and phone skills, and a High School diploma or equivalent, with 6 months dispatching or customer service experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Attendance is critical; there’s no substitute for being present.
• Strong typing and 10-key skills; good phone customer service.
• Must be able to work in-office; High School diploma or equivalent; 6 months dispatching or customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure driver trips are covered in a timely manner
• Escalate issues to customer or field operations when needed
• Ensure accuracy of trips taken and provide assistance as needed
• Update systems timely and accurately
• Professionally coordinate with all Field Management
• All other job duties as assigned
