Job summary

Siemens Healthineers is seeking a Laboratory Production Technician for an overnight shift in Knoxville, TN. The role covers synthesis, QC, packaging, and logistics of radiopharmaceuticals used in diagnostic imaging and treatment, with emphasis on safety, documentation, and regulatory compliance.

The position supports manufacturing through preventive maintenance and calibration of analytical equipment, communicates with couriers and customers, and assists with inventory, cleanrooms, and quality

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; specialized training may be needed.
• Associate degree in chemistry or life sciences preferred.
• Experience with analytical lab equipment and documentation practices is a plus.
• Familiarity with radiation safety is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate chemistry instruments (HPLC, GC, TLC) and advanced systems (cyclotron) for routine manufacturing and QC of radiopharmaceuticals.
• Author and maintain precise manufacturing and QC documentation.
• Perform preventive maintenance and troubleshooting of critical equipment.
• Prepare products for shipment and coordinate courier logistics.
• Maintain aseptic environments and conduct environmental monitoring.
• Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
