Job summary

Waupaca Foundry, Inc. in Waupaca, WI is seeking a Machining Quality Technician (Nights 6PM to 6AM) to ensure dimensional accuracy and process control. You will operate CMMs, read blueprints, and analyze SPC data to uphold customer specifications.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; associate degree preferred.
• Experience operating a coordinate measurement machine preferred.
• Other programming experience/degrees considered.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe and organized workplace.
• Read blueprints to verify conformance to specs.
• Inspect machined parts per control plans and QA procedures.
• Operate CMM and interpret CMM reports; program as needed.
• Apply statistical methods to control processes per supervision.
• Record-keeping per control plans and QA procedures.
• Identify out-of-control conditions and stop nonconforming production.
