Job summary

Carlex Glass America, LLC is seeking a quality-oriented professional to conduct process and product audits, perform tests with lab equipment, and maintain the hold tag system. You will support production and QA teams, participate in PPAP activities, and run R&R studies to ensure measurement system accuracy.

The role requires ability to operate computers and measurement equipment, strong math and communication skills, and willingness to work a 12-hour night shift (6 pm–6 am) on a 3-2-2-3

Qualifications

• Must be able to operate a computer.
• Must have working knowledge of Kurt, Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to operate and interpret measurement equipment.
• Must possess good math skills.
• Ability to read and interpret basic statistical data preferred.
• Must have good communication skills, both oral and written.
• Possess strong problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of production process from multiple areas of the plant preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct process/product audits and provide feedback to production
• Conduct product and component tests, using various lab equipment
• On-floor gage set-up/maintenance/repair/troubleshooting
• Administer and maintain hold tag system
• Assist production personnel in solving quality related issues
• Assist Quality Engineers with new product launch/PPAP activities
• Perform R&R studies and other Measurement System Analysis Studies
• Must be willing to work overtime on the opposite shift
• Requires you have the ability to work 12-hour night shift (6 pm - 6 am) on our 3-2-2-3 schedule.
