Job summary

Liberty Plastics (Baldwyn facility) is seeking a Night Shift Quality Technician to act as the quality systems expert on the plant floor. You will partner with the Quality Manager to resolve issues, implement improvements, and maintain ISO 9001 compliant documentation and records.

Strong data skills in Excel and Word are essential to manage metrics and controlled documents. Responsibilities include monitoring inline extrusion variables, root cause analysis, and training plant personnel on quality

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED; 5+ years manufacturing experience in lieu of education.
• Proficient in Excel and Word for data tracking and reporting.
• Experience maintaining organized documentation and supporting document control processes.
• Able to read a tape measure and use precision instruments (micrometers, calipers).
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Support quality team goals and initiatives.
• Assist process improvement and drive quality actions across the organization.
• Monitor daily quality metrics for extrusion lines (melt temp, line speed, cooling rates).
• Develop QA procedures, root cause analyses, and corrective actions; train personnel.
