Job summary

Randstad USA is seeking a Process Technician to set up, monitor, and adjust machine controls to sustain cycle times and product quality on night shift. The role requires expertise in thin-wall injection molding and managing mold tonnage requirements, with the ability to launch new molds from scratch.

The position involves real-time IQMS tracking, downtime coding, and scrap data entry, ensuring safety and 6S standards while maintaining quality inspection logs.

Qualifications

• 3 years of experience in process technician roles.
• Experience with thin-wall injection molding processes.
• Familiarity with manufacturing tracking and data systems (IQMS).
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Set up, monitor, and adjust machine controls to sustain cycle times and product quality.
• Launch unfamiliar molds and develop molding process from scratch.
• Authorize full production after first-piece approvals and perform mold/material changes.
• Perform preventative maintenance and troubleshoot presses, screw assemblies, and auxiliary equipment.
