Job summary

MeriCal is seeking a Quality Inspector I for the 10pm-6:30am shift in Ogden, UT. You will verify dietary supplement products against MeriCal specifications and cGMP standards, performing random sampling and documentation to ensure release quality.

Responsibilities include testing, data entry in ERP, maintaining records, and supporting continuous improvement. The role requires attention to detail, English communication, and the ability to lift up to 25–30 lb as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Must be able to lift 25-30 lbs. when needed.
• Must read, write and communicate in English.

Responsibilities

• Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (21 CFR Part 111, 117 & 211) and quality expectations for materials and products.
• Conduct sampling and testing against specified methods and document results.
• Maintain records of testing and defective quantities per batch.
• Enter quality data or release in ERP system under supervision.
• Perform in-process testing and verify tagging and organization of bulk and finished goods.
• Support verification of monitoring equipment and conduct AQL inspections per SOPs.
• Communicate any unusual occurrences to management and help maintain a safe workplace.
