Job summary

Printpack is seeking an Inspector I to visually inspect products, identify defects, and ensure conformance to customer specs. The role includes packaging tasks, adherence to safety and GMP standards, and maintaining an orderly work area in a manufacturing setting.

Hours are 11PM-7AM, Sun-Thu, with a $2.50/hr premium for work between 7pm-7am. Wage ranges from $15.50 to $23.24/hour depending on experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior manufacturing experience is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.

Responsibilities

• Perform thorough visual inspections of products according to customer specifications.
• Identify defects based on established quality standards.
• Monitor product consistency and conformity to requirements.
• Escalate quality defects to Quality Lead as appropriate.
• Pack products according to specified procedures.
• Apply labels and packaging materials correctly.
• Ensure proper product orientation and arrangement.
• Participate in safety improvement programs including 5S events.
