Job summary

Sealed Air in Ashland, Ohio is seeking a Quality Control Technician to join the production team. The role ensures that all products released from the Ashland site meet defined customer requirements while upholding safety, quality, and productivity standards.

This night-shift position offers a $1.00 shift premium and a pay rate of $20.50 per hour. You will perform testing per PQCT for each bag type, document results, identify suspect product, participate in investigations, and assist in training

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Inspector/Packer training preferred.
• Attention to detail; ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic computer skills; WMS knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure product testing is performed per the PQCT for specific bag types.
• Perform product testing to ensure ongoing quality.
• Identify, hold, and communicate status of suspect product.
• Assist in training other quality personnel.
• Complete documentation accurately.
• Relieve inspectors/packers for breaks.
• Participate in investigations and corrective actions.
• Verify correct raw materials per bag specifications.
