Job summary

Lonza in Portsmouth, NH is seeking a QC Analyst II – Operations (Night Shift) to join the quality team. You will perform testing of materials and products, deliver timely results, and document activities in a regulated environment. The role offers growth opportunities and night shift differential.

You will develop expertise in biochemical and microbiology methods while collaborating with Quality, Manufacturing, and technical teams to support continuous improvement and product release.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in Life Sciences or equivalent.
• Experience in a regulated laboratory or cGMP environment.
• Ability to analyze data and identify trends.
• Experience with laboratory or quality software tools.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Commitment to quality and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Test raw materials, in-process samples, finished products, and stability samples.
• Deliver accurate lab results to support manufacturing and product release.
• Review data and documentation to ensure quality standards.
• Document laboratory activities and quality records per procedures.
• Maintain laboratory materials, supplies, and organization.
• Develop knowledge in environmental monitoring, biochemistry, and microbiology.
• Collaborate with Quality, Manufacturing, and technical teams for improvement.
