Job summary

National Beef Leathers in Saint Joseph, Missouri, is seeking a Night Shift Quality Assurance Auditor to monitor product quality, document daily samples, and ensure PPE compliance. This on-site role features a 3½ day work week with a rotating schedule and competitive benefits.

Ideal candidates will have 2–5 years of manufacturing QA experience, strong English communication, and the ability to lift up to 100 lb while maintaining high accuracy and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Must read and write in English.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2–5 years manufacturing experience in tannery or QA.
• Able to lift hides up to 100 lb.
• Willing to work all shifts including weekends/holidays.
• Strong attention to detail and problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Input quality attributes and monitor product quality throughout production.
• Communicate quality concerns with Production personnel and leadership.
• Collect, evaluate, and document daily samples.
• Promote and support a safe work environment with PPE compliance.
• Provide departmental coverage as needed.
• Cross-train in Quality Assurance functions.
• Maintain accurate quality records and documentation.
• Knowledgeable in Hide Brand Sortation.
