Job summary

Atkore International in Dallas, TX is seeking a Quality Assurance Inspector I for the night shift (6:45 PM – 7:00 AM). The role ensures materials and products meet internal and regulatory quality standards.

You will perform tests, review documentation, and train staff to uphold Atkore’s quality commitments. Ideal candidates have plastics industry exposure, a high school diploma or equivalent, and familiarity with Lean Daily Management.

Qualifications

• Minimum educational requirement is high school diploma, or equivalent.
• 5 years of experience in a plastic extrusion operation as a supervisor, lead man, or highly skilled operator.
• Experience and knowledge of Lean Daily Management principles preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform quality control tests as required.
• Experience in the plastics industry.
• Execute and maintain all necessary paperwork and documentation.
• Train all employees, including new hires in quality.
• Ensure that all shifts perform quality tests and procedures.
• Review shift quality control inspection sheets for accuracy.
• Ensure all weights for production are recorded accurately.
