Job summary

The Tech I works with the charge nurse and staff to ensure patient care and safety needs are met, using medical terminology and strong communication.

Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma; SAMA certification within 90 days; BLS from an AHA program; 1 year clinical experience preferred; evening/weekend

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Satori/Specific certifications not required but AHA BLS preferred.
• SAMA certification within 90 days of hire is required.
• Psychiatric Tech I certification preferred.
• One year related clinical experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support care activities for patients with mental or behavioral health problems under RN supervision.
• Collaborate with charge nurses and staff to ensure patient care and safety needs are met.
• Demonstrate competence in medical and behavioral health terminology and possess good computer, organizational, and communication skills.
