Job summary

Dayton Children's Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide professional nursing care in the Mental Health III unit at the Mathile Center. You will work night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) on a 24-hour schedule, with 2 twelve-hour shifts on Saturdays and Sundays, and be eligible for full-time benefits and a weekend-only incentive.

Requirements include an Associates degree in nursing, licensure as a Registered Nurse in Ohio, CPR certification, and a plan to pursue a BSN within five years of

Qualifications

• Associates degree in nursing from an accredited program.
• Commitment to obtain BSN within 5 years of hire.
• Current RN license in the state of Ohio.
• CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care following ANA standards and ensure quality patient care.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to support patient and family needs.
• Promote a patient- and family-centered environment aligned with hospital mission.
• Serve in the Mental Health Unit at the Mathile Center during scheduled shifts.
