Job summary

Adventist Health's Saint Helena Hospital in California is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for night shift in the Psychiatric Acute unit. You will deliver coordinated nursing care, supervise staff, and coordinate care with other disciplines in a compassionate, safe setting.

The ideal candidate holds an RN license in California (BSN preferred), with CPR/BLS and ACLS/PALS certifications, and experience in acute care.

Qualifications

• RN licensure in the state of practice is required.
• CPR/BLS certification required.
• AHA-BLS or ARC-BLS: Required
• AHA-ACLS or ARC-ALS: Required
• AHA-PALS or ARC-PALS: Required
• CPI/TEAM or TEAM-A: Required

Responsibilities

• Collects relevant data pertinent to the patient’s health or situation. Analyzes the assessment data in determining diagnosis and care issues.
• Collaborates with the team of patient, family, and healthcare providers in providing patient care in a safe, healing, humane, and caring environment.
• Participates in discharge planning to provide continuity of care.
• Delegates appropriately and coordinates duties of healthcare team members.
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
