Job summary

Oceans Behavioral Hospital Pasadena is seeking a Night Shift Registered Nurse to provide compassionate psychiatric care to adults and seniors in an inpatient/outpatient setting. You will assess patients, implement care plans, administer medications, document accurately, and collaborate with the care team to ensure safety and quality outcomes.

The role requires a minimum associate degree in nursing, an active RN license, and at least 3 years in psychiatric nursing.

Qualifications

• Minimum Associates Degree in Nursing.
• Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse.
• Minimum of 3 years Registered Nursing experience.
• Psychiatric nursing experience required.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient care requirements on each unit via rounds.
• Provide education, remediation and assessment of skills as directed.
• Administer medications as prescribed safely and document responses.
• Follow up on client care responsibilities and ensure continuity of care.
• Respond to emergencies and coordinate with administrative staff as needed.
