Job summary

The McLean Hospital Corporation in Massachusetts seeks an Overnight MHS to provide direct patient care under the supervision of the Registered Nurse in the Short-Term Unit (AB1 North). You will document care, participate in patient rounds, de‑escalate crises, and support a safe, therapeutic milieu.

This onsite role at 115 Mill Street offers 32 hours weekly with a pay range of $22.40–$29.73 per hour. Epic training must be completed within 30 days, with a minimum score of 80% on modules;

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• Experience: One year of clinical experience, preferably in a psychiatric setting.
• Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Verbal and written communication skills; must complete and pass Epic training within 30 days of hire; Epic training modules must be 80%+.

Responsibilities

• Assists the RN in providing direct patient care.
• Accurate and timely documentation of AFS, progress notes, and observation sheets.
• Establishes therapeutic relationships with patients, maintaining professional boundaries.
• Completes patient care assignments and participates in patient rounds or teams.
• Intervenes in crisis situations and promotes least restrictive care.
• Maintains patient safety and adheres to unit policies and procedures.
