Job summary

Riverside Mental Health and Recovery Center in Hampton, Virginia, is seeking a Psych Registered Nurse (RN) for PRN C, adult care, night shift 7pm–7am. The position is part-time with a minimum of 96 hours every 4 weeks and requires weekend and holiday coverage.

The RN will assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care, supervise non-professional staff, and coordinate with a multidisciplinary team. VA DHP RN license and CPR/BLS are required; 1 year RN experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse (RN) with ADN, BSN, or MSN required.
• 1 year of RN experience preferred.
• RN license in Virginia (VDHP) required; CPR/BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient clinical and psychosocial needs and develop an individualized care plan.
• Coordinate with interdisciplinary team to implement and evaluate treatments.
• Educate patients and families; document care and discharge planning.
• Delegate and prioritize tasks to ensure safe, ethical care; respond to emergencies.

Education

Registered Nurse ADN, BSN, or MSN

High school diploma (if Nursing Program Graduate)
