The job emphasizes quality checks and safe handling of materials. You will operate and assist production machinery, prepare products for processing, and ensure proper packaging and storage.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Willingness to stand, walk, bend and lift in a fast-paced, noisy environment.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload items from machines, conveyors, and conveyances.
• Operate machinery used in production or assist machine operators.
• Place products in equipment or on surfaces for processing.
• Examine products to verify conformance to quality standards.
• Start machines to begin production.
• Observe equipment to detect malfunctions and report them.
• Remove products or waste material from machines.
• Lift raw materials and finished products up to 50 lbs as needed.
• Transfer finished product between storage and work areas by hand or forklift.
• Pack and store materials and products.
• Mark and tag products.
• Dump materials into hoppers before mixing.
• Mix ingredients according to procedures or formulas.
• May perform other duties as required.
• Implement FSMS responsibilities.
