Job summary

The Bandag plant in Abilene, TX, part of Bridgestone Americas, is hiring energetic night-shift Production Technicians to join our manufacturing team. Starting pay is $22.95/hour with progression to $28.14/hour in 24 months, plus tenure-based steps and premium incentives. Paid weekly and long-term bonus programs are available.

Responsibilities include setting up and operating production equipment, moving materials, monitoring quality, and keeping daily records. Must have a HS diploma/GED.

Qualifications

• Must possess a High School diploma/GED, or equivalent, (completed and verified prior to start).
• Preferred 2 years of employment stability.
• Preferred 1 year manufacturing experience.
• Must be able to perform physical duties, including lifting up to 130 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, maintain, and troubleshoot manufacturing production equipment
• Move, pack, and sort raw materials or finished goods
• Monitor the quality of output to identify, discard, or re-manufacture faulty products
• Maintain accurate daily production records
• Other duties as assigned
