Job summary

Valto, Inc in Channahon, IL is seeking a Night Shift Production Worker for a full-time manufacturing role. The position runs Monday–Thursday, 6pm–6am, with a salary of $19.00–$21.00 per hour plus night differential.

Qualifications

• Ability to read a tape measure.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Understand and apply safety guidelines and hazards.
• Overhead crane trained.
• Ability to safely use hand and power tools.
• Maintain good attendance and positive attitude.
• Ability to perform basic math.
• Understand proper chemical and waste disposal on the line.
• Know safety equipment required for the position.

Responsibilities

• Assist Coiler or stack finished material and label by grade.
• Ensure product conforms to Quality System requirements.
• Properly package and band materials and build skids as needed.
• Operate trim choppers, trim winder, and Trash Compactor.
• Maintain safe, organized work area and ensure tools are safe to use.
• Understand and follow production run sheets.
• Report issues to the Group Leader.
• Assist and/or train back-end line personnel.
• Support 5S and TPM compliance.
