Job summary

US Modules is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead day-to-day manufacturing operations at its solar module production facility in College Station, TX. The role focuses on supervising production teams, ensuring safety, quality, and on-time delivery while driving continuous improvement in a high-volume, automated environment.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in manufacturing, 2+ years in supervision, and strong leadership and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in manufacturing or production operations.
• 2+ years of supervisory experience in manufacturing.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of safety, quality, and production control principles.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily production activities across assigned lines or areas.
• Ensure production schedules, throughput, and output targets are achieved.
• Manage staffing, shift coverage, breaks, and overtime.
• Conduct shift startup meetings, handoffs, and daily communication.
• Monitor KPIs such as safety, quality, output, scrap, and downtime.
• Enforce OSHA requirements, PPE usage, and safe work practices.
• Lead safety talks, audits, and incident investigations.
• Address quality issues, defects, and corrective actions with Quality.
• Lead, coach, and develop Production Team Leads and operators.
• Support training, cross-training, and employee development.
• Manage performance, attendance, and disciplinary actions.
• Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to improve safety, quality, delivery, and cost.
• Partner with Engineering, Maintenance, and Quality to resolve production issues.
• Support equipment startups, process changes, and production ramp-ups.
• Participate in root-cause analysis and corrective action implementation.
