Job summary

Avery Dennison in DeSoto, Texas is seeking a Production Supervisor to oversee the Service Bureau team, ensure equipment uptime, manage inventory, and drive safety and quality. You will lead recruitment, training, and performance reviews while aligning daily workflow with customer deadlines in a fast-paced on-site environment.

Responsibilities include supervising a team, coordinating production schedules, maintaining ERP systems, and safeguarding workplace safety.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required; bachelor's degree preferred.
Minimum 5 years of related experience in production or printing.
Minimum 5 years of supervisory experience leading teams.
Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
Intermediate PC skills with Excel, Word, Outlook and ERP software.

Responsibilities

Supervise, recruit, train, develop, and conduct performance reviews for Service Bureau associates and leads.
Coordinate daily production workflow, scheduling, and department responsibilities to meet orders on time.
Oversee Service Bureau equipment functionality, maintenance, upkeep, and repairs.
Maintain ERP inventory tracking, resolve discrepancies, and coordinate cycle counts.
Ensure safety procedures, maintain clean work areas, and perform pre-shipment quality checks.
