Job summary

National Vision is seeking an experienced Production Supervisor for its optical manufacturing facility in Plano, TX. The role requires supervising daily production activities, meeting goals, hiring and developing staff, and keeping a clean, safe work environment for associates.

Night shifts are 3 days per week with four days off (3:30 pm–4:00 am). The supervisor will manage interdepartmental workflows, perform root cause analyses, and enforce SOPs while supporting training and performance

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of directly related production supervision experience.
• Prior supervisory experience is required.
• MS Office (Word, Excel) knowledge at beginner to intermediate level.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily production activities and ensure workflow.
• Resolve breakage issues to keep losses low.
• Conduct root cause analyses to identify and mitigate issues.
• Manage lens and frame inventory as needed.
• Train leads and oversee cross-training across stations.
• Interview, hire, review performance, and schedule staff.
• Implement SOPs and enforce company policies.
